Hello! I'm Renee.

A proud North Carolinian with roots in the Midwest, blending the best of both worlds. Raised in the South by Midwesterners, I have embraced a personality that reflects my diverse background and the many roles I have been grateful to play in life. Hairstylist. Veteran. Mom. Wife. And now, marketing strategist.

My journey into hairstyling began after I returned to work when my children were about three and four years old. I quickly fell in love with the craft of making women feel as beautiful as they are. Eventually I found myself adding a marketing role to my job description at the salon where I still work today. That unexpected turn changed everything.

It ignited a passion I did not see coming. I went back to school, earned my BSBA in Marketing from East Carolina University, and graduated cum laude in 2025. What started as a curiosity became a calling.

Creativity has always run deep in my veins. I find joy in cooking, baking, and experimenting in the kitchen. Gardening holds a special place in my heart, rooted in memories with my grandmother. Our garden tours were a cherished tradition, and now as I cultivate my own garden I can feel her encouragement with every bloom. I am also the keeper of my other grandmother's famous bread recipes and canning tips. And yes, my Cricut gets a workout every holiday season.

But the creativity that drives me most right now is the work I get to do with small business owners who are overwhelmed by their marketing and ready for something to actually make sense.

That is why I built Radiant Rise Creative. Not as a pivot away from who I am, but as the next natural chapter of everything I have already lived.
